Reading

Books and suttas that inspire my practice.

1. The places that scare you: a guide to fearlessness. Pema Chödrön.

This book is a short manual on little practices you can do in everyday live to be more compassionate, loving and caring. The book is just great when you need an inspiration in difficult moments.

2.  Why everyone (else) is a hypocrite. Evolution and the modular mind. Robert Kurzban.

If you never heard of modular mind theory before, this book is going to change the way you see your mind forever. The theory goes closely hand in hand with the Buddhist concept of not-self.
